TRIMAX trailed

The TRIMAX trailed cultivator has been developed as a result of the increasing demand for implements with a large working width, and DALBO has constructed the trailed variant with all the excellent features from the well-known lift version and more besides.

The TRIMAX is ground-breaking in that it has the largest ground clearance on the market at 90 cm, as well as a unique 3D stone protection developed by DALBO.

TRIMAX trailed

Our trailed TRIMAX stubble cultivator is known for its excellent incorporation of stubble and soil and is a fantastic solution for larger farms

It is equipped with a very robust and high frame construction with a ground clearance of 90 cm, which makes working in stubble fields with a large amount of straw easier, as the cultivator does not get blocked.

It is also excellent for breaking through ploughed land when allowed to work at depth.

The TRIMAX is equipped with specially designed 3D hydraulically sprung tines, which protect the frames and other mechanical parts of the cultivator.

After the tines, the ground is levelled off by means of springsuspended discs. The discs are mechanically adjusted and leave a level surface after the harrow tines. Finally, there is a Ø 600 mm bogie T-ring cage roller, which crushes any clods left by the cultivator and supports its weight.

The power requirement depends on the depth of the cultivator and soil type. A power requirement of approx. 60 hp per metre working width is recommended for cultivating at a speed of 8-12 km per hour under normal soil conditions, but less will be needed when cultivating stubble on lighter soil types.

Product's features

The TRIMAX is equipped with specially designed 3D hydraulically sprung tines. These are mounted with a tine spacing of 275 mm, which is distributed over 3 rows and with 70 cm between the rows.

The 3D stone protector ensures that the tines are protected when driving over stones and helps relieve heavy loads on the harrow’s frame construction and other mechanical parts.

The 3D stone protector allows the tine to move 40 cm up and 15 cm to the side when driving over larger stones, and the system is built on a swiveled bracket supported by a hydraulic ram.

Optimal tillage, mixing of soil and plant residues are ensured by setting the correct cultivation depth.

The depth on the towed TRIMAX is set by adjusting the support wheels at the front of the cultivator and setting the height of the bogie T-ring packer. This is achieved by means of the stroke limiters on the cylinders.
