DALBO launches SUBSOILER XTREME – a no-compromise deep soil solution for the professional arable farmer

DALBO A/S expands its range of cultivators with the launch of SUBSOILER XTREME – a new, extremely heavy-duty subsoiler developed for intensive deep soil cultivation. With a working depth of up to 60 cm, SUBSOILER XTREME combines effective loosening of the plough pan with intensive mixing and cultivation of the soil surface – all in a single pass.

SUBSOILER XTREME is aimed at the professional arable farmer who demands high capacity, reliability, and agronomic performance. The machine effectively loosens compacted soil, improves drainage and soil aeration, and creates optimal conditions for proper root development and stronger crop growth.

Intensive mixing and effective incorporation

Unlike traditional subsoilers, SUBSOILER XTREME is designed for total soil mixing. The intensive cultivation of the topsoil layer makes it possible to efficiently incorporate crop residues, which are quickly converted into organic matter. At the same time, optimal coverage of applied slurry is ensured.

The machine’s special tine design and a tine angle of 45° reduce friction against the soil, contributing to lower fuel consumption. The carefully balanced angle of attack causes the soil to “roll,” ensuring uniform and efficient mixing across the entire working width.

Robust construction and high operational reliability

SUBSOILER XTREME is built around a heavy-duty frame with a large frame height, ensuring optimal soil flow – even when working with large amounts of crop residue – and reducing the risk of blockage. The limited number of moving parts also ensures low maintenance requirements and high operational reliability. As standard, the machine is equipped with stone protection using a shear bolt, protecting the frame in the event of impact with larger stones. Reversible points and wear protection on the tines further contribute to long service life and low operating costs.

Flexibility with accessories

SUBSOILER XTREME can be supplied with a double finger roller with mechanical or hydraulic depth adjustment. The finger roller refines the soil and ensures effective incorporation of plant material in the upper 5–15 cm of the soil layer, allowing the soil in many cases to be prepared for sowing in a single pass – resulting in significant savings in time and fuel.

In addition, the machine can be equipped with wing shares that work horizontally in the soil, ensuring effective fragmentation and cutting of roots and crop residues.
